WHO LEEYA BE?
A MAKER TO PUT IT SIMPLY.
To put it unsimply, an art director, designer, painter/printmaker, think piece and fan-fiction writer, podcast host, dancer, sci-fi nerd, generally loud and outspoken public speaker and proudly black woman from Detroit. I make art. I make ads-that can be art. I make noise.
And who knows what else I'm going make in the future? I sure hope it's dope.
Currently an Art Director at Fallon, before that AD intern at mono, before that AD intern at GdB and before that Miami Ad School student and before that frantic and broke graduate of Illinois Wesleyan Univeristy with a printmaking degree.
DA ACCOLADES, FOR THOSE WHO CARE ABOUT THAT KINDA THING. I KINDA DO.
I've been featured on Time's Up Mpls Panel, been named AdFed's 32 Under 32, spoke on MPLS MadWOmen's Women Who Make, and featured in MPLS Business Magazine's Women Who Lead. I've also written an article for Desk Lunch and been featured twice in Adweek for Borrowed Interest, my podcast with Amalia Nicholson and Shariena Chandler. And this is just the shit I can remember off the top of my head.
